Attention Michigan Residents

On the Ballot this year is a petition to "change" the Constitution of this state, Vote NO on this, in one of the rewrites it clearly states
The state has the right to regulate who bears arms and the types of arms permitted
That is Hilter 1938 right there folks,

My Thoughts on the Ipad

So this is it:

And uh pricing is a little (electron microscope size) cheaper:
16GB 32GB 64GB
Wi-Fi $499 $599 $699
Wi-Fi + 3G $629 $729 $829
Hey that spaced out how I wanted it Nevermind
Anyway the 3g is supposed to run $30 a month not too bad, but now my thoughts on it, basically
it's a big Ipod touch, it would be cool to have if you were on a plane or something like that, the PowerPoint compatibility I have been hearing about would be good, But right now as I sit on my laptop, for me I don't see the advantage yet, for music a ipod touch is better and for net, there are netbooks with more memory that cost less, but I will see again in a few months if Apple hit a home run or struck out with this.

Oh Snap!

I haven't posted music videos in over...well a long time, lets fix that.

Wow, was that a odd group or what?

Charles Daly Is Going Out Of Buisiness

This is the news we got today,
To all our friends, fans, supporters and consumers of Charles Daly and by extension, KBI products, I regret to inform you that the rumors of our demise are true.

KBI is going out of business and closing its doors, effective today.

I don't want to go into each and every detail as to why this has occurred, except to say that there have been a multitude of events over the past five years that have contributed to our current situation.

For those of you with ongoing service requirements, please be advised that we are currently negotiating with several companies that will be performing after-sale service of Charles Daly, CD Defense and Jericho firearms. As soon as we have finalized a contract with one of these companies we will post the name, address and contact details of that company so you will know who to contact to obtain service on your KBI firearm.

We will allow this forum to remain open as long as all discourse remains civil. If any posts deteriorate to a level that is beneath the standards of this forum then the forum will be closed to all posters and will only exist for announcements from KBI.

Again, I wish to thank all of you that have supported our company, this forum and Charles Daly these past 20 years. This spells the end of KBI but I imagine it will certainly not mean the end of Charles Daly and CD Defense. Look for this excellent brand to resurface in the very near future.

Sincerely,

MR556 Updates

Man, this gun is awesome,

Here is the thread, Linky
It also appears that they are making it to accept other AR uppers and lowers, and before somebody gets cute in the comments
Actually, it was the German government which initially insisted on the different pin hole alignment and HK GmbH/HK-USA worked very hard to get that changed so the uppers would be compatible with standard AR lowers. But your version of events certainly sounds sexier...
Told you.........

Oxidize Your Hard Drive PICS

Album Link

There are 8 pics total but as you can see, 1 day in bleach is not good on a HD. NOTE: Photobucket is not being cooperative in posting pics.

So Updates...

I figure some updates were in order, I had a nightmare last night that the new 40rd Pmag was going to cost $249.99,

Anyway,

Brownells has this new 45* mount For putting on optics and other rail mounted accessories at a angle, I figured that was a cool little thing,

I received my Curio and Relic license from the ATF,

The Auto show will have it's own post.

Cool,

SA80 Update

Looks like the kits are just about ready and a price has been announced,

http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=6&f=43&t=291386

At $2,400.00 it is more than I wanted to spend, So I will hold off (especially considering it is not a whole gun) and wait for the MR556 or MP5/22.
